The 2008 Games have concluded! The Birmingham-Jefferson Convention Complex was charged with energy Friday night as the Opening Ceremonies kicked off the 2008 Alabama Sports Festival State Games. Thousands of athletes, coaches, and volunteers poured into the arena during the Parade Of Athletes.

Honoring Our Heroes-Law Enforcement

A huge thanks to all of those who made the celebration of Honoring Our Heroes – Alabama Law Enforcement, such an overwhelming success. Well over 1200 Law Enforcement Personnel and families of those lost in the line of duty came together at the Birmingham-Jefferson Convention Center. The excitement and wonderful attitudes of all those involved made this event extremely special. more info
