- Friday, June 18, 2010
- *5:30 p.m. Athlete Leadership Summit
- *7:00 p.m. Alabama Sports Festival Opening Ceremonies for all sports: Cauldron Lighting, Parade of Athletes (FREE T-Shirt for registered athletes)
- *Coaches if you do not register by Wednesday, June 9th at 5:00 p.m. you will NOT receive your confirmation packet by mail. You CAN pick up your team confirmation packets only on Thursday, June 17th, from 8 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Alabama Sports Festival Command Center located at Spain Park High School!! The confirmation packet contains the T-shirt coupon for each of your players. Also, you can pick up your confirmation packet on Friday, June 18th, at the BJCC from 3:00 to 6:15 p.m. Only Players can pick up their own T-shirt Friday, June 18th, from 3:00 to 6:15p.m. at the T-shirt pick up area at the BJCC!!

In order to register by mail, download the complete registration packets below. Please be sure to check off events you are entering on the Registration Chart, complete either the Individual or Team Entry Form A or B and be sure to sign the Waiver Form(s). You only need to submit one Team Entry Form. Clip out the Registration Chart and Official Entry Form(s) and mail with Entry Fee to:

Divisions
Girl's "A" Fast Pitch Region 5 Qualifier
- 10U, 12U, 14U, 16U & 18U
Rules and Format
- Alabama Teams Only
- Tournament will be governed by ASA rules and regulations
- Teams will be scheduled for a minimum of two games weather permitting, utilizing the double elimination tournament bracket.
- Games will be limited to 90 minutes per ASA rules. The International Tie Breaker rule will apply.
- Tournament brackets will be posted Wednesday, June 16th at 12 noon.
Winners in the the Regional Qualifiers receive a Berth to the USA/ASA Girl's Class "A" National Championships.
Awards
Individual
Each individual on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place teams will receive an Alabama Sports Festival State Games Medal. Individuals on the 1st place team will also receive an ASA Championship T-shirt.
Team
Team trophy will be presented to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place teams in each event.

Coaches, if you have not received your Official Opening Ceremony T-Shirt Coupons in the mail you can pick them up ONLY Thursday, June 17 at Spain Park High School between 8:30 A.M. and 7:00 P.M. Please call 205-408-4736 for information on where to pick up your packets at Spain Park High School. If you do not pick them up Thursday they will be available Friday at the BJCC T-Shirt pick up area. If you have any questions regarding rosters, t-shirt coupons, or softball schedules please contact Alabama Sports Festival ASAP. We look forward to seeing everyone at the Opening Ceremonies Friday, June 18th.
